Waterscape – Beachview Bed and Breakfast Tybee Island GA
Located on the ground floor in the Northeast corner of the building, Waterscape is an oversized handicap friendly room with an amazing view of the ocean. This Great Room suite has a full kitchenette including microwave, crock pot, toaster, steamer and full size refrigerator. The furnishings include table and chairs, recliner, couch and king size bed. This suite has a private bathroom with a handicap friendly step in shower, sink and toilet.
Waterscape’s large open area and optional connecting door to Mary’s Suite, makes it the perfect accommodations for a small family, wedding party or just friends traveling together. And with the brick and stone harp fireplace combined with extended stay rates during the winter it is also a great place for “Snow Birds”.
On entering the suite from the veranda, you will find that the new Inn Keeper, Karen Kelly, worked hard not to waste one original board during the recent historical restoration. On the wall to your left, the boards were taken down, cleaned and put back. And to explain the funky color combination you see, Karen explains it this way. “On this wall I have the colors I found throughout the Inn mingled to show the history. Everyday my construction workers and painters would say “You are going to paint this wall, right?” I said no way this is a work of art. Anyway…hope you enjoy.”
Here at the Beachview Bed and Breakfast, we LOVE dogs!! Your dog is welcome to stay in the waterscape Suite!
